Dear Gary,

The cost of mediation is dependent on the nature of the dispute. My hourly rate is $250.00 per hour. Some people can resolve everything in an hour, and some people need several sessions to resolve their issues. Some mediation participants want me to draft papers to file with the Court as well. I do not require an upfront fee, which enhances the affordability of mediation.

Parties can mediate the issues you asked about – modifying child support and parenting time.

If you would like more information, you can either call me, or we can schedule a complimentary half hour informational consultation. My number is: 480-998-1500. My assistant, Jon, can schedule a time to talk or meet.

Sincerely,

Alona M. Gottfried, Esq.

How much does it usually cost for a mediation? Also what if the child doesn't want to live with one of the parents. and can mediation be used to get child support even if there was a divorce and no child support was ordered because the kids were supposed to share the time.
